PRODUCT FEATURES
Envirofill is a high grade, state of the art infill composed of naturally occurring silica sand found only in the Hickory Formation in Central Texas.  Its highly rounded quartz core resists compression so it does not continue to compact or degrade over the life of the turf.  Microban antimicrobial protection is infused into Envirofill during the manufacturing process to ensure the prevention of bacteria growth, mold, and mildew that cause stains, odors and product deterioration.

Envirofill makes artificial turf look and feels great while maintaining non-toxic properties and the ability to be completely reusable.  Envirofill’s  Microban antimicrobial protection works continuously to help prevent the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew that can cause odors and stains.

How It Works
When a pet’s body processes nitrogenous compounds, one of the by-products is ammonia.  Since ammonia would be harmful, the body converts the ammonia to urea which is then expelled.   When the urea is expelled onto the synthetic turf infill, naturally-occurring microbes begin to break it down.  The result of the breakdown is two molecules of ammonia and one molecule of carbon dioxide.
